It's hard to keep up with the wild elephant herd when you're only a baby calf - especially when there's dangerous swamps to cross.

  • @TurkishFoodIsYummy Remember, ad hominem remarks do nothing to further your argument. The person I was talking to had no more factual evidence than I did, but that person also stated that all viewpoints are equal. I'm quite busy these days with my work so I won't be responding to any more replies, but thank you for taking interest in my debate.

No, you moron. Any opinion that is not based on factual knowledge cannot be right or accurate. What she stated are facts. An animal functions on "reflexive mode"; it's purely instinctual. A human being, however, functions on both reflexive and "reflective mode", meaning a human-being has the mental and emotional capacity to fight against his instincts and is expected to calculate the consequences of his actions, which is why we have jails, and they do not.

  • @giovannasos Lots of animals have some basic senses of morality due to the evolution of empathy. Herbivorous animals in particular are often very empathic and caring to both members of their own species and that of others. Bonobos are generally nicer and less malicious than humans, for example. Humans can be very malicious great ape, but have the capacity to learn morality through education.

  • EVERYTIME I SEE THIS BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS I THINK THERES A GOD

YOU ARE SUCH AN IDIOT. Humans have the reasoning of differentiatin between what is right and what is wrong. Animals don't, they are innocent. They do not have the ability to do that, so what they do is without knowing like a baby human. An adult maybe likes to have sex with his sister but he knows is wrong so he stops it and does not do it. A dog would have sex because he does not know about the consequences of mating with a close family member.
