I have the same camera, how do you open the back? mine seems to be stuck

If you're facing the camera forward there's a round black knob that you use to rewind the film. The knob should pull up freely, and then it feels like it gets some spring action at the top. If you pull it through that spring action - it should release the back. If it doesn't, it might be broken.

the part where u pull out to open the lid its like GONE missing the top part broke off.. and the screw part that was left fell inside the camera now its all rattling around.. and i cant open it cos theres nothing to pull!! D: D: and its not mine either

is there liek a secret way of opening the lid !?? thank you

@GigantGatlingGun Man, if I'm following you right, I think you might be in trouble on that one.

Mine sold with all the lenses for under $80 on eBay. I bet you could get the body on eBay for under $50 - which is probably less than trying to get it repaired!

my father have the same camera for 20years and it's amazing, the quality of the pictures is good we had alot of albumphoto scince we are kids , i'm 21years

In grade ten I had a technology class, one part of which was film photography. We all had pentax k1000s, this camera is responsible for my interest in old school photography. Wicked camera, man!
