Amie is my cousin....Megan also my cousin! but I miss her dearly and my family says i get my singing talent from her. She is my 2nd cousin and my moms 1st we go visit her grave as much as possible which is in Plaqumine Louisiana! Go see when you can im not sure of the name of the grave yard I JUST KNOW HOW TO GET THERE!

I really liked Ami. I was sorry that she was killed I had both of her cd's but lost them
along with all of my music from Katrina
However I was able to get her moving out cd
through amazon I am so glad.
To Ami's family she is not forgotten and will always be one of my fave singers'

On December 21, 1997, Comeaux was returning home with her grandmother and her godchild, Megan, from a Christmas family gathering in Alabama. As Comeaux passed a car, her car hydroplaned due to severe rain weather and struck a tree, and she was killed on impact. Comeaux's grandmother and godchild were injured in the crash and were hospitalized for some time, but both survived.

I remember hearing about it on the radio.
