Obama-Cooper Union

The scene outside Cooper Union in New York City as President Obama delivers a key speech on financial reform. There are some real loons and kooks out there in the crowd, including a man whose primary grudge is not with Wall Street fat cats or Goldman Sachs or even Obama, but rather "Yuppies from Connecticut." All in all, the crowd was fairly mellow and New York's Finest seemed more bored and bemused than agitated. The same could not be said for Secret Service agents yelling at the occasional curious observer to shutter their windows in the buildings adjacent to Cooper Union.
