You cut a square out of each corner - about 4" x 4". Then your fringe cuts should each be 4" deep and about 1" wide. If you cut the corners out and then start cutting the fringe, it will make sense to you as you see it.

i dont get how to do the corners?

@neodragon77 only some fabrics are stretchy. once you find a stretchy fabric, it'll be SOO much easier to understand.

@elliefrench6 there is a side where if you pull its stretchy you can tell. and the other is pretty tough for lack of a better word

@dora519 not if you are using the same material on both sides...wouldn't they be equally stretchy?

I have developed a clear adjustable cutting template to cut the fringe. It is $19.95 plus $5 shipping on my website at fring-ez.com. You can cut 2, 3 or 4" fringe with 1" width or 1/2" width.

@simplegrl11589 no, just as long as its knotted

Ok you say "now lets tie the stretchy side." What is the stretchy side???

On fleece two of the sides are stretchy because they are the sides that haven't been cut. Like if you go to a fabric store the materials are on a cardboard thing wrapped up. The stretchy side is the side that they don't cut to make it the length you want it.
