First of all, you will need a SD or micro SD (preferably SD) card.
(2gb or less, but bigger than 512mb) SDHC Cards will work. A 512mb will work, but a backup file can not be created in such a small memory size.
Sd card compatibility is provided in this website. I definitely prefer Sandisk Brand 2gb SD cards. 32mb SD cards will work, but just go get that Sandisk Brand 2gb SD card.

@rojo6914 I think that just leaving your wii downgraded is the best idea. Upgrading does not help you in any way because it does not give you anything.

Do I need both files the 2.0 and the updated one? Or do i need just the updated one?
