@finney67 A good DBD34 would do 70/75 in first with std geaaring, not 90. I geared down 2 teeth on the engine sprocket and she would do about 60/65 in first but the acceleration was just wicked, and she would still top out at about 110.
I loved that bike, and wish I still had it. Sold it for next to nothing, who should know how much they would worth now.

Very nice! like the peg fold out. Always thought a linked retracting spring could pull peg out of way as kick began returning it after kickstarter pass. More for a daily hack though,

I recently saw a bike with a sprung loaded footpeg which was linked to a decompression lever on the handle bars by a cable. Pulling in the lever when starting lifted the peg. Ingenious !!
