If you had the Hope of Hopes you'ld not be relegated to morosely sigh. Art is as flowers fade until it plays softly as a radio out of key if mortal resolve is sought thru the anti-christ. Go absolute nicely. Diet christ, personally.Thoroughly, then leave yourself behind. Or, as butler said,"lose yourself, lose your soul."

This has to be my favorite Furs song. I have always been haunted by its lyrics- When I was too young and stupid it was an amazing song for it's regal sound led by raspy Richard Butler- When I saw them in concert at Janus Landing in St. Petersburg, Fl., on this tour, He was marvelous dressed as Jesus having discovered mousse and a wind tunnel...It was only live that I heard the background lyrics...get smart, get scared, get lost....Brilliant..haunting. Thanks for this evocation.
