I just used Picassa (for W. Vista HP) to resize about 240 photos down from around 3mb each to the 800x600 size needed by one of those stand-alone electronic photo displays... Picassa ripped through all of them in just a few minutes.. 2 or 3 minutes... and did an excellent job. I had thought it would take a lot longer (hours?) but no, it was amazingly fast.
