What a waste of tax payers money.

Hey at least no one's double parked on it.

Only a Council could come up with that kind of total bollocks, I am still laughing :-)

they have a thing in some US cities where they convert abandoned rail lines to bicycle paths, its called 'rails to trails' in Seattle... it works out pretty good because most lines take a flat and direct rout from village to village, bridges over waterways and automotive thoroughfares are also already in place. in most cases traveling via bicycle is faster than driving or public transportation

@ian8354 i don't know what a bullock is but yeah, that's fucked up.

Funny stuff. Although can you answer the question on the video of why other cyclists don't use them? I use them because that'w what they're there for.
-
haha, I've been there. When I find cycle lanes here they're usually about 25 meters and terminate directly into grass. It's like the state had just enough money to fail.

What a load of bollocks mate ! Have you thought of contacting the council and telling them about this pathetic cycle path and ask *when* it is to be extended ?
-
We have exactly the same problem with bridleways, country is ran by arseholes
-
Somebody was paid to design that

haha oh man this got me. I wasnt expecting the trail to just end. Not sure hwy but this video made me smile . Good job.

Haha! I always wondered where this cycle lane ended up. Glad I watched your video before I went exploring
Where is that (apart from the obvious Sheffield) ?

@mrcellophane99
It starts opposite the new Sheffield Edinburgh Bicycle Co-Op heading South..not quite sure where it was ever supposed to go since it would always head into the back of some units (or into the River Sheaf)
