@inferniangoddess its sad how one man can brainwash a whole population and its sad to know that North and South is separated not by oceans and landmasses but by political ideology symbolized by the DMZ

@tlukmanj The traffic girls were replaced with traffic lights across Pyongyang in 2010. They still surveil the intersections though, altough from a street corner and not the middle of the road.

I'd love to see that same footage done at night. I assume that due to power shortages and curfews I bet it would look even more post-apocalyptic.

The N.Koreans are trying to emulate the same grandeous, powerful look that existed in the USSR in the 1970's, only problem is they cannot afford it due to the enormous difference in the economies, geographic size and availability of resources.
How were you able to get in there?

Even US citizens can go at some period of the year. Just need a passport and a visa.
