In 1977, Eric Carmen's music took on a different direction than that from two years earlier. Eric revealed a more soulful side to himself when recording, "She Did It." It was a sound not found in his two previous contemporary ballads, "All By Myself," and "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again." Although the soulful sensation, "She Did It" did not fare as well at #23 as Carmen's two previous hits, it will still be revered as perhaps the most underrated and underappreciated song from "1977."
