That's beacause ther ARE the same! You can even order the same lycra cover colors through the Asian marketplace just like Waboba does/did. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it seems that Waboba patented the use of an exsisting product in a new way (throwing instead of squeezing). Don't get me wrong... I think it's a great product! And I take mine to the beach every time I go, but I no longer pay for the overpriced Waboba...I just bought a few lycra covered gel stress balls for $2.00 ea

I've tried Waboba's Extreeme, and Pro models and even cut them open to look at their cores, they are no different than your garden variety stress balls of the same size. Sometimes the color inside is different. They bounce the same on water too (can tell no difference at all). A blind test will also show that they feel the same.
