If you look at the vimeo version (vimeo dot com slash 908455) you can see what I mean about the widening and "improved" grade crossings (some now curve to a right angle to the road and more visible to motorists). As for extending it, to the north in Welfleet that's never going to happen regardless of what anyone may say :-( As for the south, this may happen as it is knocked around but I know of nothing definitive (i.e. a published date and plan).

It was widened giving a quiet country lane feel along with the pavement being widened, making it a little easier dealing with clueless users. And all the pavement was replaced. But as it still is far short of road standards, after 6 months the most observant can see pavement breaking and cracking starting up yet again. State employee job security I suppose.
