1st Round Game
In the national division 1st round Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) got run over by St. Patrick 23-7 after one quarter and 46-18 at the half. Even 7' 0" senior center Jan Maehlen (one of two seven-footers in the tournament) provided very little resistance for Ironwood Ridge as St. Patrick won 83-35.

Quarterfinal Game
Because of New Jersey state rules St. Patrick could only play three games so they got a bye into the semifinals.

Semifinal Game
St. Pats faced a very good state ranked Centennial (Corona) team who was led by junior Gelaun Wheelwright and New Mexico-bound junior Dominique Dunning. The Celtics jumped out to a 25-15 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 28 points to the delight of some Duke fans who waved a Duke flag after every great Irving play (4:04). Kyrie Irving did it all with two slam dunks, two trifectas, multiple drives to the basket and he even mopped the court when it got wet. (3:43)

Championship Game
Like the other two games St. Patrick played in the finals were before a capacity crowd of fans and tournament players. Newark Memorial (Newark, CA) was ahead at one point 9-4 and won the first quarter 11-10 but Michael Gilchrist and Co. took over the game as St. Patrick led at the half 32-20. Gilchrist had a game high 25 points, 16 rebounds and five blocked shots. Kyrie Irving scored 22 points and was awarded the tournament MVP award.

St. Patrick was the USA Today # 1 team in the nation at the time.
Kyrie Irving '10: Duke
Michael Gilchrist '11: Kentucky (nation's # 1 junior)
