Okay let me clarify the subtitles. Ranmaru has always relied on his father throughout his life so he's crying out for his father even though the Father is not around. It's more of a mental note, a childish reaction to the event that is occuring.

i've seen this like 20 times i figured out he wasnt calling Al his dad, its kinda hard to put it, like say your doing it right and the person your doing it with is too big ok, and your saying to someone whos not near you that it hurt ok, thats the best way i could put it so can everyone stop saying that Ranmaru is calling Al his dad
