Personally I don't like FFVII. It's boring, characters are bland and cry a lot and the fact that the game is so overrated just drives me insane. But here is the commercial for it.

it may be dated now, but it holds it's place as the best. just like Chrono Trigger(best RPG made on SNES). the graphics may get dated, but the gameplay and storyline never get dated, as well as it's involvment with Videogame history.

@basketballplayerty That's a very good reason to dislike a game you find shitty - even MORE.

Bot worry not, its just like with soap operas and worthless talkshows - they got the most views (and thus popularity) as oposed to say good documantaries because most of the earth population is composed of low-life cretins.

So when I see a game getting total hype/ uber sales/ adds everywhere, I can rest assured I won't play it as it's been engineered for max sales - equals dumbened down to the max.

just because a game has hype doesn't make it bad, or good. ff7 is amazing, get over it. there are plenty of amazing games, though. people like what they like. hurr durr.

I still think ff6 is waay better than ff7 in character developement.

But ff7 is better than ff8 in gameplay and at least it doesn't have those moments in disk 1 where you are like:WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET TO THE GODDAM STORY?

or those linear battles 1 step or 2 and 1 monster and you have to walk 10 kilometers .

ff9 was alright,i liked the characters dialogue and there were good fun character.

FF9 had good music too.

FFX seemed waay too long.

I played this game and only reason i played it 3 times,was to beat ruby and emerald weapon.

The extreme boredom got to me first.

I think other than the special bosses,the game offers little to no replay value.

The characters are bland and boring,the music is good in some places,others i absolutely hate it.

The story is badly focused and is one dimentional as it only concentrates on cloud and seph.

Final fantasy 7 is a GOOD game, not the BEST game. I have been replying it lately, and wow, its just not that great. Sometimes it bores me, and Cloud wines ALLOT! Sephiroth, is just blah. Aries is annoying as hell! and man, everything is easy as hell. Way to easy. I do think that Next gen games are hell lots of fun, and this one, is just ok. Its not the best final fantasy, hell i like 12 more than it. I will have to say i like number 4, 6, and 12 the best. 7 was ok. To many fanboys though.
