Sailor JAMboree - L'amour d'amour Moonlight @ Comic Con 2000

This is Sailor Jamboree (Performing Cosplay Troupe) performing "L'amour D'amour Moonlight" which is a song from the Sailor Moon Musicals in Japan. As Sera Myu fans may note, the dance was altered for creative purposes and also the costumes are hybrid style, which was better suited for the audience. This performance was given the "BEST IN SHOW" award, the highest honor in the masquerade competition. At the time, anime was not very popular with Comic Con fans and Sailor Moon was considered to be too girly and ridiculous (as you can hear the comments by the audience) so the win was a crowning achievement despite the odds against it. Also, several our members had injuries during performance but went through with it anyway.

The costumes are meant to be flashy and kinda gawdy looking. That was the audience members, especially ones who are further away, are easily able to distinguish between them.

They're re-creating the costumes from the Sailor Moon musical(Sera Myu) They look exactly like that.

flaw: They had to find some one more fenime to do neptune and someone whos way too tomboyish to do uranus lol
