Spotlight: the gas dispute

Today we will again talk about the continuing European gas dispute. Ukraine, a major transit country for Russian gas to Europe, has so far not allowed the gas through, claiming the two sides had not agreed on the volume of gas and the pipelines to be used. As the outrage of Gazprom and EU consumers grows, President Dmitry Medvedev has proposed European gas-consuming countries gather for a summit. But when and where may it happen? And will the negotiations help to find a way out? Well be talking about it with Marc Franco, who heads the European Commission Delegation in Moscow, and Andrey Klimov, Head of the State Duma Subcommittee on European Co-operation.

There's something more to that. The eastern part of Ukraine is where many rebellious ethnic Russian live. Sebastopol is also in that area, it is the home of the Russian Navy where the lease is about to expire in 2017. Ukraine has indicated its desire not to renew the lease.The on/off shutting of the valves requires new "tech" gas to placed in the system. Gazprom willsupply the tech gas to the pipeline that will not help that eastern region, causing more rebellion against the Ukraine government.

Ukraine do not steal gas. Do not belive KGB propaganda! Ukraine have raight to take any amounts of gas for free! We transit monopoly, so we can do this!

All free world should support our gas blockade of Russia! Dont blame Urkaine! US,Uk, Poland, Georgia, Latvia and Estonia - support only us, not Russia!
