Hud/hands removal:

Download the movie config.

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOURUSERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg extract files to here
go back into source, type in console, exec movie, then hit - to remove hud,
and [ to remove hands, then 3 on the numpad to set the fps (to 30), then f11 to start recording
and f12 to stop.

uh, k now all my settings are gone and all my controls/binds are clear...any help?

before it over writes your keys, it creates config.old.cfg

Just rename that file (in the cfg folder) to config.cfg and restart cs :P

so i extracted the cfg to where you said, go into source, exec movie and this menu type thing appears in console. If i hit - or ] nothing happens but if i go in console and type 3 everything goes red and if i type some other things i can get wireframe models so the cfg seems like its working except the hud/hands removal, any idea?

em, my movie config dosen't work:S.. i downloaded the config in your description and did that i says. put it in the cstrike\cfg folder... but, do i type in console.. "exec movie" .. or the name of the movie i named it to, example .. "exec still_smooth"?.. plz help i really want this to work.. btw great tut!

is there a console command for removing the hands? for example the console command for removing the hud is cl_drawhud 0

r_drawviewmodel 0 (1) - default value, but this will turn off your model including the weapon.
