Unfortunately only in Russian, but here is a SYNOPSIS: Three young women gather around the table one evening, talking. Two of them are very eager to get married, while the third one advises them to wait for the right person at the right time. At this moment three suitors enter, trying to impress the three young ladies with their talents and tales of great exploits in countries far away. When the three leave, Maria and Dunasha (two of the sisters) begin discussing the young men they have set their eyes upon, how handsome they are and of all the connections they have. Their sister Aliona urges them to be patient and wait for Gods timing and the person He will bring to them at the right time. Her sisters laugh at her, claiming that she will surely become a spinster or wait a hundred years! The grandfather and mother of the three young women, who had been listening at the door, enter and also urge the young woman not to be foolish and turn a suitor away. Her grandfather tells her that people are laughing behind her back as she will soon be twenty years and still unmarried. Troubled the young girl falls asleep next to the fireplace. She dreams about a strange visitor who gives her strange advice. She is told that she should hurry and not loose the chance to marry. When she turns around, she sees a demon standing there. She commands him to leave and when she wakes up she understands that the dream was confirmation of the advice of her heart. Her family asks her to forgive them for arguing with her as getting married is surely not like putting on a glove! At this stage the three suitors return. Only this time there is a fourth young man with them, handsome and kind. Alionas heart bounces within: he is the one! And so our tale ends with an important lesson!

  • These are Ukrainians, not Russians. The speak Russian with funny Ukrainian accent.

  • Yes, they are NOT Russians! They are actually Russian-speaking Ukrainians!! The accent some of them have are actually Moldavian! Trust you enjoyed that!! May all Ukrainians live in peace, no matter what language they speak!

  • Thank you for your kind wishes. But I think Ukrainians should speak Ukrainian, not Russian. If all Ukrainians speak Russian instead of Ukrainian, they will just turn into Russians. History knows many examples when nations come to extinct because of forgetting the languages of their own.

  • Thank you friend! May Ukrainian neverbecome extinct!! But I know Canadians that speak Ukrainian. Americans who speak Spanish. Ukrainians who speak Russian. Others speak Moldavian. Others speak Ukrainian. Others speak Bulgarian. There is a difference between nationality and ethnic origin. The Lord bless Ukraine!!

  • Good job everybody!!

  • I think it's better to speak BOTH, Ukranian and Russian, but not forget the mother tongue! However, it's NEVER a bad idea to speak more than one languages! Trust me! I speak 4 languages and never had the thought to forget my mother tongue (russian) and never did, though I speak all 4 languages fluently, almost as if they were my mother languages! It helps to get around!
