@sourswithhawk what were there bows made out of??..they must have been weak bows.cause there was no osage or yew in there area

@5tonyvvvv Not all strong bows are made of just osage and yew. They had white oak/ juniper which can make a really powerful bow, but they only have evidence of short bows for short game. They most likely made long bows after the atlatl and before the shortbow for the other large game.

@sourswithhawk yeah can u tell me about there cedar backed bows?..i know juniper was used,,but the miwok made bows from cedar and backed it.
