Chris Choi, cello Jessica Chappe, Viola Harry Rayner, Violin Erin Wells, Violin String Quartet, Op.33#3 "The Bird" Franz Joseph Haydn Junior Chamber Music 2008 Coach: Dr. Josephine Moerschel Loyola Marymount College, May 17 2008
to the first violin, don't rush on the sixteenth notes and work a bit on the intonation.
to the second violin and viola, for your simultaneous eigth notes, have a sense of direction and keep it moving. also match the bow articulations. the second violin is doing the stokes in a more legato way while the viola is doing a brush stroke. try practising in sectionals
also try to keep the beat steady. there are surges and it's very "wavy".
I dont think this is actually Op. 33- The Bird...its supposed to be the 4th movement
