Went into a mall near Baltimore today while I waited to have my car speaker wire fixed. It was NEAR EMPTY. I have no idea how much longer the remaining stores can hold up, but believe many are bringing in far less than it costs to keep them open!

analysts expected microsoft at 0.39/share but they came in at 0.33/share because they had 0.06/share in one time charges from layoffs etc. last quarter microsoft gave no guidence on profits so i expected people were worried. prior to earnings release microsoft was down -3% but the NASDAQ was up 7%. i was able to sell MSFT friday with a 10% gain the friday after they released earnings =)

Tell me please, are there any Statistics about US folks who are Unemployed laid off & NOT claiming? bet there are many Million who won't suffer humiliation & prefer to work for occasional cash Black Market part time Incomes. We have this in Europe even though they can give you quite a lot of help financially especially for Families with Kids working on lower pay sometimes £250 a week extra! aswell as wages

Does job losses of a massive scale and speed lead to no money amongst us and so deflation economy? Also standard of living and bad health ensue from this. Virus and disease, riots from no work and nothing to do each day but sit and fume..
