  • whats the difference between the 330 and the 830 please?

  • Sorry, for the long delay answering your question. You've probably already chosen a piano by now, but in case you haven't. The 330 has many, many different sounds and rhythms and recording options on to many tracks, which is great for someone who performs live, or who wants to create a multi instrument recording, while the 830 has hardly any sounds, rhythms or recording options, but has much better speakers.... The 830 has been made to be the best sounding piano.

    Regards -Richard-

  • Hi Richard, thanks for the great review, I've been looking for a comparison video like this!! I'm tossing up between the PX730 and PX830. I know the PX830 is about $500 more than the 730 but I'm not sure if it's really worth it. I'm pretty much a beginner piano player, I played it up to grade one level 6 years ago and I want to get back into it. The only reason I'd be buying the 830 is for the better sound quality I think. What do you suggest for someone at my level?

  • @AlyssaAust91

    Thanx for the question.

the px830 and px730 both have fantastic depth. I would personally play both, while I wouldn't play the px130.... it's just not deep enough. The 830 is way superior to the 730 in the complexity of sound , especially in it's mid range and higher range. The 730 sounds a bit dull compared to the 830. If you're keen to learn and you have the extra money to spend, it's definitely worth going for the px830. I LOVE THE PX830! -rich-

  • wow nice pianos =D im still confused though 730 is cheaper than the 130?

  • Thanx for the quesiton.

The px730 should be more expensive than the px130, but it's such a popular model

that shops seem to quite often drop the price below the px130 price. -Rich-

  • Great informative video, thanks

  • Hi, wonderful video, very helpful. Wondering if PX-730 is portable or not at all. You did show how PX-130 is portable, how about PX-730? Also does the PX-130 keys come with touch response like the PX-730? (I read somewhere PX-730 does but there was no information about PX-130)

  • Hi Richard,

I am tempted to get the 730 because of the price. I heard that if I will always use it with headphones (I live in a condo) I will not see much benefit in getting the 830. Beside the SD slot, is there any other reason to get an 830? I am a beginner and know nothing about Digital Pianos.

    Thanks!

  • whats the difference between the PX and CDP?
