@ChateauSiran1986 Hope to help before you venture out...if you're not peticularly passionate about fashion I would examine your strategy first. There a MILLION other ventures that are better suited to pursue profit. T-shirt lines are extremely competitive. They nature of the product changes seasonally and 50 bucks will not get you far. For a part-time gig I might check for something less time consuming. I've worked in fashion for over 11 years and sometimes I wish I loved another industry.
@Zkrudriverz Depends on where you want the samples done. LA has tons of jobbers that will do samples & peoduction run. Definitely can go overseas if you can take on logistics and minimums. Two rules of thumb..1.samples (or protos) cost about double the cost of production garments (NOT including cost for label & trim development of course) 2. Vendors want you to do production with them. if you don't they could charge you more. Hope that helps. Need a specific vendor message me.
Hey there, I've been in fashion with my own brand for the last three years.
To be honest, I would start off with as little money as possible. If you are going to spend a lot of money,
then focus most of that money onto the branding part. People follow brands, so that has to be integrated into your company professionally. Then make sure you have a great first release with your brand! Good luck!
i have read thousandsof how to start a clothing line/sneaker brand tutorials and tutorial videos but noone can tell me WHERE to find a manufacturer!? I've googld' my ass of but still can't find or understand where and how to get a prototype and your design manufactured!?
