@helloimtank: Oh trust me, you definitely don't have to be kidding at all. I've been to Seattle a ton of times, and it's definitely a bit cheaper to live there (but everything else seems to cost just about the same).

i live 2 hours north of san francisco. when i was younger, once a month. i would go spend a night or 2 with my aunt in san francisco. i always loved walking along all the piers at night. sadly, she moved. and i haven't been to san francisco sense. my new #1 favorite city is monterey CA and i pass through san fran on the way. i freaking love monterey. i just got back from there a week ago and i already want to go back.
