@Binglung I disagree on that.theres definitely some noise, thats part of the deal for acoustic bottleneck far as Im concerned. I grew to love the little percussive clinks and scratches listening to my heroes. The strings are pretty heavy and the action isnt low. If the slide was lighter the tone would thin out for my taste. As far as the creaks and clinks, yes, its a subjective issue...one way to completely eliminate that issue is to play lap slide,or yes, use a lighter slide and higher action.
action is too low for that slide. unless thats the tone your looking for, hearing the noise on the fretboard shadowing the note you are trying to emulate. i like the guitar but the set up needs work. cool tune.
What tuning are you in? What kind of slide are you using? Great sound.

@jreynolds4 Yes! The howling Wolf...I definitely remember playing the Howling Wolf! Though I effectively killed many brain cells there, ha ha!

Sounds awesome, Tony. I saw you play at the Howling Wolf in Aspen Co in 2000. Killer Banjo and great songs. Hope to see you play again in the future.
