Istanbul, a crossroads of commerce and culture, sits at a tectonic crossroads that makes it a target for periodic destructive earthquakes. The city population has grown from 1 to more than 10 million in 50 years, and most residents live in buildings that were built in a haphazard rush and are prone to collapse. The city is starting to work to cut the risk.

we knew the danger but it's hard to leave this city 1st its hard to transport a population about 15 millions and 2nd Istanbul is indispensable for too many person
