Hi I am from the San Fernando Valley SFV and he is just driving around joking about the valley. The Hamburger Hamlet I think still exist and is on Ventura Blvd and Topanga Canyon. It looks like he drove up to Mulhulland Drive and looked down on the valleyat the end.

It's on a video collection called "A Bunch of Videos and Some Other Stuff." It's out of print but I got my copy on eBay.

I can't exactly remember. Something like $25 including shipping, it was from England. Then I had to pay another $12 to get it converted to DVD. It was in PAL, and while my VCR didn't support it, my portable DVD player did.
