@IzzyJG99 Because he saw it from the outside having been raised in the Federation and was taught the Federation's interpretation of Klingon culture which was far more honorable than the reality. Look at all the major post-TOS Klingons: the Duras family, Gowron and the clerics of Boreth. They claimed to be true Klingons but in actuality they were far from it.

That's what I liked about Worf. He was probably the only Klingon that had to grow up hearing about the honor and warrior culture of his people and in the end...he became more honorable and a better warrior in all aspects than any other Klingon.
