Philippines - STAR Tollway Joyride

(Southern Tagalog Arterial Road)
STAR Tollway connects SLEX to Batangas port, going to Batangas is faster using this route although becareful of the two way lane here, accidents do happen and the roads as of this video was recorded is rough, not as smooth as SLEX and NLEX or SCTEX.

Tomas to Lipa) and two-lane (From Lipa to Balagtas) 42 km expressway in the Philippines. Correction, STAR Tollway is the expressway that will mainly serve the Batangas Port aside from towns and cities traversed by this highway. The planned extension of SLEX from Sto. Tomas to Lucena will serve motorists from Quezon and Bicol. Another expressway from Calamba to Los Baños will be built soon to have a fast access.

how about the other cars who ran out of gas in the middle of a highway

it is too long may be suv's are not allowed to cruise because they siphoned too many gas

By the way, remember NLEx the year it was built? There's a section that is also a two way expressway from San Fernando to Sta Ines, lots of accidents occur in that section that's why PNCC built the northbound carriageway to accommodate traffic on the northbound side and also to lessen accidents in that section since Clark now has its economic zone and Northern Luzon is booming for its tourist spots especially Baguio. Have a safe journey guys especially on two way section of STAR Tollway

Thanks for sharing this video, namimis ko na ang homeplace ko, Im from Rosario, Batangas but currently live in Carmona, Cavite. We always use STAR Tollway going to my homeplace, just exit at Malainen (Ibaan) then turn left going to Rosario via Ibaan.

@CleverCAB The volume of automobiles traversing Lipa - Batangas segment of STAR is enough for a 2 lane expressway. When the volume increases in the future, they will definitely upgrade it to a four-lane expressway :D
