Wow! Came across this video by accident. I last 'marched' along these roads early 1971 playing euph with Jack Clarke, before moving overseas. I can recognise some of the 'older' players. I believe that is Cyril Swansbury carrying the flag.

Thank you for bringing much blessing to me. I'm stuck in the USA because of the Volcano and needed a lift! Great to hear Montreal Citadel. I remember playing this many times while marching down Wood Green High Road! Keep up the good work

17harveyroad - thank you for your comment! Yes I remember the name jack Clarke former BM unfortunately not with us anymore but 2 of his grandchildren play in the band. That indeed was Cyril swansbury carrying the flag unfortunately Cyril was promoted to glory last year. Amazing the the middle man in the last row wear the old generation of the uniform, any special reasons for that?

Yeah he's a student in Scotland, Govan Corps and they still wear high colour tunics, He was brought up at Winton and was home for that particular weekend.

Just got further into the video and heard The Red Shield. Whilst this is allegedly Enfield's march no band plays it quite like Winton band!!
