Israel has said that it will ease the blockage on the Gaza Strip and start allowing trucks carrying goods in.

This comes after extreme international pressure on Israel following a deadly raid by Israeli soldiers on an aid flotilla heading to Gaza, in which nine activists were killed.

Israel will now allow all goods into the territory except for weapons and items deemed to have a military use.

The blockade on Gaza has been in place since the Hamas takeover of the strip three years ago.

But Israel's critics and humanitarian groups say that the easing of the blockade is not enough.

Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports.
