Persatuan KIOKU ( Pusat Latihan Interaksi Orang Kurang Upaya ) is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-political, fully voluntary service One-Stop centre committed in bringing peace, love and harmony to the physically challenged and less fortunate Malaysians.
Founded in 1999 by Mr. Chris Kali, the centre have been actively involved in bringing awareness to the general public the capabilities and abilities of the physically challenged, allowing them to be re-employed back into society.
The Centre also provides skill development programs and advise to the physically challenged. Through its annual KIOKU DAY (Handicapped Family Day), the centre hopes to gather sufficient support to run the home as well as allowing the physically challenged to interact with the general public.
Come to Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur on the 12 October 2008 to join in the fun and games. Persatuan KIOKU will be hosting a charity lunch bash at the venue on that afternoon.
