@theodorus45 I had the same trip. The view of sunrise at Abu Simbel was spetacular. Even the drive through Sahara to get there was cool :-)

I went to abu simbel, just amazing, simply amazing, both temples, for a little fact, the 4 statues outside are 4 of ramses 2nd ages, the first one is the age 25, the next one which is mostly destroyed is 35, the 3rd one is 45 and the last one is 55, i think, thats why they look different.

I was there in October, fantastic!A cruise on the Nile,and by bus from Aswan.
