Did anybody notice that Big Brown trainer Dutrow was wearing a cap with "TRUMP" on it? Was this at the bidding of one Donald Trump? Anyhow, who got trumped? Never forget that there was one thoroughbred that was actually a scratch from Race 11 that finishes ahead of Big Brown in this race itself. It's the Japanese-trained, Japanese-owned Casino Drive who will likely share much the same fate as Big Brown--but in the Breeder's Cup Classic.

umm nice effort today but i mean it was 100 degrees outside and it wasnt his day but i think it was a great effort i mean look at this horse he gave it all he could the other horses did not race in the preakness and he did so that was a disadvantage for big brown to win 3 races in 5 weeks is extremely hard to do big brown is so cute!! i wanna just kiss him so much but i will resot to fucking ur mom in bed bitch ill kill all ur moms and evry 1 and big brown will be all mine u hear me all mine so!

Dutrow has said he gives all his horses some sort of steroid shot, once a month, sort of like the American track and field team, every year.
Hopefully, Big Brown will not fade out in the final stretch. I doubt he's as fit as Casino Drive, for various reasons.

My hunch is that she's trying to be diplomatic. Big Brown hasn't done anything to make anyone forget Secretariat or Seattle Slew or Affirmed.

I saw a photo of Big Brown this week and he looks to powerful for a 3YO. It is rumoured that Big Brown is on steroids as it is legal in some states in the United States. Even if Big Brown does not win the triple crown I believe that come next year he will win the Dubai World Cup and cement his name in United States racing feternities as a better horse than Curlin.

It was just reported(Sat) that Ian McKinlay, the foot specialist who has been treating Big Brown's Quaarter Crack and Abscess, has had to increase the strength of the treatment. After a week of treatment you would normally expect the treatment to be nearing completion, and the foot to be ready for the patch! With Big Browns lifelong foot problems(holding him to only 3 starts before the Derby), you have to question this change in treatment. Is this problem worse than we are being lead to believe?

It is ridiculous to even make the comparison between Big Brown and Big Red. No horse and I mean no horse can compare to what Secretariat accomplished in the manner that he did. I don't care what horse you put in the same sentence as Secretariat they will never match up in hitting the "fractions"

Curlin of course. That's why you won't see Big Brown run after the Belmont Stakes. They're afraid his value will plummet after a few losses against horses like Curlin.
