The LightWedge LED Book Light enables nighttime reading without disturbing anyone else in the bed, room, or airplane. The LED lights skim along the surface of the page-sized acrylic lens providing illumination for just the pages of your book. The lightweight and compact design coupled with the soft carrying case make the LightWedge Reading Light the perfect gift for travelers.

Expect 40 hours of battery life from each set of four AAA batteries.

  • i dont understand, is the paperback for thin, paperback books and hardback for hard hardback books or is it just that paperback is thinner? (Ditto hardback hard)

  • @ilovedonuts2011 The hardback one is larger and is designed for larger, hardcover or QP style books. The smaller model was designed for those small, mass-market books that are usually particular to genere fiction.

  • If one were to remove the plastic screen, would light still emit onto the page? I ask because I want an e-book light that doesn't cover the screen with any plastic screen. (I also don't like the protruding lights, such as Mighty Bright, since they seem to fall off too often)

  • @gavinjengel The plastic wedge isn't really removable. Even if it were, it would just be a series of LEDs.

  • @vat19com wat type of batteries does it use?

  • @Ladygagafan752 Four AAA batteries .
