Does Nigeria builds aircrafts? did nigeria produce any of the jets shown above?

@remakim2  no, nigeria doesn't build any military aircrafts. But we do manufacture civilian aircrafts such as the Scottish Bulldog.

??? what are you guys complaining about. I could bet you guys know nothing about aircrafts. Number one is Nigeria going to fight a war in the near future? no, So why waste money of F-16s when your not going to use it that often. thats why Nigeria went for the F-7 which is alot cheaper and could provide the air support nigeria needs.

Nigerians, like most Africans, are a bunch of complainers.

If nigeria did buy F-16s or SU-35s you will complain that we could have used the money for roads etc.

Even in the so called west, only a select few can manage to have the necessary technology to make aircrafts...the rest just buy the equipments and other facilities ,the way we do, If however you have the knowledge and the capacity to indigenise the Nigerian military manufacturing industry, please dont be backward in coming forward.

every country needs a strong military, to be strong you need weapons, to protect your countries interest, it is obvious that there are many naive people here, most obviously racist, that do not think anything good can come out of an african nation like Nigeria, you obviously need to do more research, Nigeria, egypt and south africa have the best militarys in africa. its economy is the 3rrd strongest in africa, and its one of the largest oil producing countries in the world.

it's a shame that:

1. most of what is profiled there are "VIP trabsport aircraft"

2. the only combat capable aircraft there are, the 12 (sorry now 11) Chengdu F7s. To be honest they are 2nd generation fighters but for Africa that's good enough, though I don't see what use 11 fighters are.

The Mil helicopters are only effective if you wish to use them Gadaffi style, to suppress civilians. Can anyone say "stinger missile", look what happened USSR in Afghanistan in the 80's

it's really simple, European governments and weapon manufacturers place puppets in power in African countries so they'll spend money in useless weaponry while their countries have already been taken over a long time ago.

you own. The closest to manufacturing anything in Africa would be SouthAfrica, and they don't even make aircrafts. Nigeria does not posses the discipline to make a Bicycle.
