Her Jazzy voice puts her in a category of her own. This is very important, for she does not try to imitate anyone else. There are others who can sing her songs with beautiful voices, but it is not the smooth melodic voice of the master singer.

I was at the show on the 2/13/2009. I enjoyed the show. She is 51 years old and she still can sing her heart out!!! That was a fantastic performance.

When my wife and me were in New York last year we stayed just across the road from RCMH. I just wish I had the opportunity to see Anita live. She is WITHOUT DOUBT the finest singer of her generation. Gladys Knight move aside please.

There used to be an extended play version of this shortly after the song was released where her pianist had a solo for a couple of minutes. It was a fantastic version. They played it in Philly for a short time then it disappeared. I think it was a special radio edit. Does anyone know anything about that and how I might be able to get it?
