Between Truth and Lies Ch. 17

Alex's P.O.V
It's been months. I know. Life is hell and my children grow bigger each day. Without a father...yes without. No Joe. No family. No money. Nothing.
We live in a small apartment off the coast of the Pacific. Just the three of us. Nick, Rose, and me. And we barely make it each day.
"Mommy!!" Nick jumped on me as I woke up from a nap. I laughed and tickled him. "Mommy I wove you" He smiled.
I smiled and kissed his forehead.
"I love you too my sweet Nicholas."
"Jonas.." Rose pointed at the tv.
I frowned. No they didnt know who their father was and i was on a mission to keep it that way. I did not want my children to be hurt as much as i had been hurt.
"Thats my wast name." Nick pointed to himself "and Roses" he pointed to Rose.
I nodded. Arent you surprised how well my children talk for only being 12 months old? I was too. Theyre both so smart and they both look just like Joe. Its a constant reminder of how my life must keep going and how i must forget him and move on. You all have no idea how difficult it is to raise two kids on youre own when youre still young. Well let me clue you in on whats going on in my life....


Joe's P.O.V.
"You are not pregnant!" I shouted at Alex. No. Not Alex..not my Alex...this was a new Alex. A different one whos only a bitch to me. But yeah, I fucked her.
"I am Joe! I really think I am!"
"Its not mine! I dont want kids!"
"Too bad you have two already! Why not add one more!?"
Two already...Alex..Nick..Rose...god do i miss my family...
"You didnt have to bring them up..."
"I'm sorry..you dont do anything for those kids and I want our family to be different." Smiled Alex patting her stomach.
"What family!? Youre not pregnant with my kid!"
"But I am!"
"No youre not! You fucked that guy! Billy is it? right?!"
"Oh him.." She giggled. "He was fun."
"And i havent fucked you since. So its not mine."
"Oh my god! Youre right! Wow that was easier than I thought."
"What was?"
"Breaking up with you. See ya Jonas."
She left my house and i punched the wall. I hated this. I hate not knowing anything about MY Alex. I miss her and my kids. You dont know how hard it is day to day living without them. I know i messed up. i know i threw Alex against the wall...I made her bleed..I broke her..I broke us..
And I was wrong. Shell never take me back now. its been a year. An entire year without my family. Not even my brothers or my mother want to talk to me or see me. Nick went off on his own. and Kevin got married. I wasnt even at the wedding. I wasnt invited. Alex was though..
Frankie even grew up a lot. Hes such a little Jonas now. Its hilarious how much hes like us. Only he never hurt anyone.

I decided to go for a walk on the beach. A lot of couples were there. A lot of kids. Not my kids.
"Joe Jonas!" A girl screamed my name and attacked me.
"Hello?" I pushed her away and signed something for her so she'd leave me alone.
"Lifes a bitch right?" I heard a familiar voice behind me.
I turned to see Nick standing there.
"Nick?"
"Joe. Why dont you go find Alex and help care for your own damn kids. Theyre not doing well while you have too much money and nothing to do with it."
"What do you mean she has no money? Shes Alex! She was more rich than we were."
"Where do you think all her money went to Joe?"
"I dont know..."
"She gave it up for her kids..its all gone."
"No..."
"Yes Joe. Yes it is gone. Think about what ive told you." Nick shook his head as he walked back towards his car. Nice car. Fast car too.
What am i saying...? I need to focus on Alex...I need to go see mom..
