I yearn for the feeling emotion when enjoying the pleasure of a soulful automobile. I want that indescribable feeling of empathy in my chest whenever I corner, whenever the engines takes a breath out the back, or when it screams in a redline soaked fury. Not warranty voiding launch control mechanism or ten way traction control. I want it precisely my way; its my personal test, its the soul from the driver linked with the soul of the auto. And It will be that way until I rest. Preach.

When he describes the Daytona retaining its essence despite its many faults, is the same way car nuts view old muscle cars - the car may turn bad, waste more gas than its rivals & not have a radio; but the car's soul never leaves. People overlook that notion all the time. New cars like the GTR & its entourage of YouTubers can't process a notion like that. True fun doesn't exist for them. 0-60 times & blink of an eye shifts are what stirs them. The irony is they'd never track the car anyways.

@TheItalianPerson I don't think he meant it if it will explode when it's cold. A cold manual transmission will have the clanking and banging noise and feeling when you upshift in the cold.

The Daytona looks normal, ordinary, not beautiful yet it doesn't look efficient.

I don't like the Daytona, it is not that good and it isn't one of the prettiest cars I´ve seen, definitely not.
