  • I would not say the car is unsafe. What this test demonstrates is how dangerous SUV’s are to ordinary cars. Test after test has shown time and again that these high ground clearance suv’s are a serious danger to other road users (including pedestrians) when compared to cars, whilst not necessarily protecting their occupants any better than cars when hitting stationary ridged objects. They should be driven only by people who NEED off road capabilities.

  • @bommmmmmmm That's a horrible idea... It's my choice to drive a truck and it's your choice to drive a car and the consequences that come with it. If you want to feel safer vs. other vehicles, then drive a truck.

  • @bommmmmmmm its a pick up not a SUV and lemme guess u have a prius

  • @bommmmmmmm i totally agree with you. most vehicles on the road are small to midsize sedans. no one needs these huge freggin suv's or pickups. unless they absolutly need them for farming ect. just the other day i saw a new 2012 dodge ram pickup. the top of the hood was 6" taller than the height of my 2002 ford taurus. that is completly obsurd and that was factory sitting on the dealer lot.

  • damn a face full of scalding hot radiator fluid from the truck drilled straight into the face. that would suck something fierce.

  • @CPUOverclocker64 P.S. your original analogy makes perfect sense to me. If you want to feel safer against a gun, wouldn't you want to wear a bullet proof vest? How is that "Idiotic"? Unless common sense is now idiotic. If it is, I'll make sure when someone is shooting at me, that I tell them to wait so I can take off my bullet proof vest. I really don't want to die an idiot.

  • @CPUOverclocker64 Haha your comparison makes no sense whatsoever... The comparison would be more like, "It's my choice to bring a gun to the fight. It's your choice to bring a knife and the disadvantages. If you want to feel equal, bring another gun." If you want to stick with a gun analogy. It's been proven that being in a truck is safer than being in a mid-size sedan, so you should do some more research. Inform me to how they are dangerous to passengers? So should everyone drive a smart car?

  • @CPUOverclocker64 i think he's completely right.

  • @bommmmmmmm bitch i'll drive whatever the fuck i want.

  • @MrThesween That is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. That's like saying "It's my choice to own an assault rifle and, if you want to feel safer, wear a bulletproof vest." These vehicles have been tested to be astronomically safe against any other vehicle meeting certain requirements. Being in a truck does not make you any more safe, it only makes you *less* safe to anything you end up running into.

Trucks are not only dangerous to their passengers, but also to whoever they hit

  • @kamaro100 They're made in Ohio, you dumbass.

  • Little cars are dangerous when put in front of a pick-up/ SUV. And, Cars are way safer now than they were in the 90s
