Poirot returns to Britain after a long absence anxious for a new case which will challenge his gray cells. He quickly gets his wish in the form of taunting letters from a serial killer who has dubbed himself ABC and leaves a railroad schedule at the scene of each crime. The victims as well as the crime scenes appear to be chosen randomly, but maintain an obsessive adherence to alphabetical order. However, Poirot grows to believe that the killer is not the madman the authorities believe, but a methodical killer with a very tangible motive.

  • @surbon514 You should watch The Hollow!! Henrietta was a top match for Poirot. The crazy woman in charge of the household too was. Also watch Cat among the Pidgens, some top women there.

  • Hastings has a very quick eye for all beautiful things. That includes the caiman too.

  • Okay, I think that the guy playing Donald Fraseris is also Major Knighton from The Mystery of the Blue Train. Yeah

  • @talispoona Some men look at women with subtle appreciation. Other men look at women with the most openly rapacious eyes, they should be slapped. No one enjoys being ogled in such a way.

  • Is it just me or is this show pretty sexist. I mean the women are always falling to pieces, fainting, or naïve. I still enjoy the show but I'm surprised at the lack of strong female roles in any of the episodes I've seen.

  • @asnconstance Auburn hair to be exact...if you've been following Christie's books.

  • @lollipopfop Actually I think he just has a preferrence of brown-haired young woman. His first love was of brown hair.

  • @Msninjaelf Spoilers are really not a good thing. I know you are just guessing, but its still best to avoid so everyone can enjoy. ;)

  • @talispoona He drools at every youngish female. If that seems normal to you, then I would hate to know who you hang with.

  • @seppsters Nope. These shows were written long after Hitchcock movies. The Agatha Christie books they are based on are written before, but thats not the same thing.
