this sweep had way more bonuses than the early episodes did, back then they only had the shopping list $250, millstone coffee $100, and the oversize product bonuses $50, $100, $200...this had candy, bread, coffee, and inflatable bonuses...

please forgive that idk this (i love this show and watched it as a kid but theres something idk) do the two loser teams keep there money they win the big sweep? or do they get the money they picked up? (i know the winners do but idk the others)
and also, at the beginning do the teams know they are gonna get picked, im sure the producers dont just pick random teams. but all the teams of 2 out there all have nametags and a grocery product. so, i was wondering if someone knew that two. Thanks!!

@moneybags1972 the losing teams don't get any money. We were given a catalog of gifts that each team member could pick one item from. My partner and I picked a radio and a scale! Very fancy.
Everyone in the opening credits are people taping episodes, and you know when you are going to be called.
