nomalicious, thanks for your reply, but I was not asking why the Zimbabweans do not flee to Australia etc. I was asking why do Africans flee their own countries. They come to South Africa, because SA is still better off than most African countries. Why is that? Because unlike the rest of Africa, SA had been run by a competent government before.
The policy of Apartheid was flawed, but it provided food, health care and education beyond anything the rest of Africa could offer.
