is ur house a habitat home? im just curious cuz the one i lived in in Michigan had those same heater vents in the floor, and the bathroom was the exact layout as yours

I'm not sure I know exactly what a habitat home is? I do know since we refinanced earlier this year that our house is over 80 years old. Can't really tell from looking at it because of all of the renovations done before we moved in, but it's old.

For someone who isn't staying at the house more than 4-5 years, it's a great idea to go with Vinyl, it's easier to install for an amature like me and it still looks as good. Waste of money, not in my situation. Welcome to Illinois by the way.

Watch out for dampness/mold under the sink where the sub floor is exposed. At the very least, paint it with mold resistant pant. Nice diy job!

To make scraping and removing old tile easier You always can wet floor.
