Kim Eldredge, The Outdoor Princess from EatStayPlay.com shares her sure-fire way to catch trout. This setup is perfect for fishing in rocky, weedy lakes where trout love to lurk! With a few basic supplies, you'll be able to catch loads of trout too.

  • if im just fishing off a pier thats about 20 yards out from shore should i use this setup?

  • @yabudday121 Sure. I've used this from shore, off a boat dock and from my boat or kayak. You can also use it with a bobber. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

  • It's called a clinch knot

  • @123whoib It can also be called a cinch knot -- same thing, just different name.

  • @feraloner -- It really depends on the weight of your line and the size of your hook. Use the smallest possible weight that will still allow you to cast. Good luck!

  • Thanks for the comment! My next video will be about geocaching so stay tuned!
