I have the DX2 and it works great. I was a member of a small egg blog and I sais I use this and they took a on a mob mentality. All I can say it this thing is great.

Did you ever figure out why your final pit temp raised to 239 degrees and did not go into Ramp Mode?? The same thing happened to me on my first DigiQ DX cook (Aug 18, 2010) even though it was registering that I was in Ramp Mode, and should have brought the pit temp down to the food temp of 200 degrees. My pit temp went to 243 at the end of the cook after having kept the pit temp at 225 for 18 hours.

@stewilltube - never did...I don't use the ramp much any more...my guess is that you need a tight fit and the vent adj on the digiq should be throttled down...perhaps 1/2

The digiq's may be waterproof, I'm not sure...I always put a plastic bowl over mine if there is a chance of rain.
I use the 4CFM fan...

it might be but I always put a plastic tupperware container over mine when it rains, or threatens to rain.
