Dude, the back of the net moved. It was in. Look at the reaction of the goaltender, and the rest of the vancouver players.

It was a goal. ust look at the2:20 mark. The puck hits the back of the net's twining, not the top of it, & that means the WHOLE puck went in. That's proof it was a goal even if the top of the twining is enough for it to be a goal. You're entitled to your opinion but it's based on something that's blatantly not true. Why do you need to believe in something that isn't true? Your assertion that the puck didn't go in is tantamount to someone insisting it's raining out even if the sun is shining.

kirk mclean didn't lose to both new york teams cause he was still 6 years away from becoming an nhl goalkeeper in 1982.
